About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Practice, you'll be the trusted legal business partner with all teams across the Group. As our Senior Corporate and Compliance Counsel, you'll lead key corporate and compliance projects that power our growth and keep us ahead of global regulations. Your expertise will help us move quickly, stay compliant, and support teams in achieving their goals.

In your day to day you will:

    • Lead strategic projects: You’ll assist in executing strategic corporate legal projects such as mergers, restructurings, and equity transactions. You’ll work side-by-side with local counsel, advisors, and our finance team to get things done.
    • Own our corporate records: You’ll keep our records sharp and accurate. You’ll prepare minutes for board and shareholder meetings, making sure we’re always ready for what’s next.
    • Support global deals: Cross-border mergers and acquisitions are your playground. You’ll help us expand with confidence.
    • Shape our compliance framework: You’ll help build and run our global compliance framework, making sure we meet legal and regulatory requirements, including Sapin II.
    • Guide our teams: When operational teams face legal questions, you’ll be there with clear, actionable advice.
    • Stay ahead of the curve: You’ll track changes in corporate law and governance, so we’re always compliant-and always ready.
    • Be our legal safety net: You’ll jump in to support any corporate or business law issues as they come up.

What We're Looking For:

    • Experience: Around 8+ years of experience in corporate law and/or M&A, either in a law firm or as in-house counsel at an international company.
    • Expertise: Deep knowledge of corporate law, transactional practices, and compliance frameworks (like Sapin II, anti-corruption, and whistleblowing).
    • Policy Leadership: Hands-on experience creating and enforcing global governance and compliance policies and processes.
    • Problem Solving: A creative, solution-focused mindset. You love solving problems and thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with a positive attitude.
    • Collaboration: A team-first attitude. You work well with colleagues across finance, HR, operations, and beyond. You’re comfortable managing legal issues in multiple jurisdictions, including compliance-related challengers.
    • Communication and languages: Fluency in English and French. You can explain complex ideas in both languages, simply and clearly.
