Contentsquare’s Product Analytics team is looking for a Staff Product Designer. Our products help our customers make better experiences — because of that, we think our data and analytics tools should also provide a high level of care and craft, designed with contemporary user- and human-centered practices.

The Staff Product Designer works alongside the Design Director, leading design efforts for the whole Product Analytics offering. You’ll operate across a range of design practice, from up-front research, insights, and strategy, through to ideation, prototyping, and testing, and to delivery of final designs. We're not looking for ‘unicorns,’ who are expected to be brilliant at everything, but we do presume comfort throughout the design process, and an ability to oversee and lead even those areas that you’re not expert in.

What you’ll do:

    • Provide creative and strategic leadership for design and throughout product development for our Product Analytics offering
    • Partner with product and engineering leaders across Contentsquare
    • Lead upfront user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and translate research insights into elegant user experiences that satisfy user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints
    • Design and document workflows and wireframes, bringing them alive as high-fidelity visual composites built upon our Design System
    • Spearhead the development of experience-led product vision
    • Create strategic design deliverables such as strategy decks, customer journeys, visions of future experiences and evangelize these artifacts across teams
    • Be an active stakeholder to key ‘horizontal’ activities such as Design System development
    • Participate in the creation of a framework for establishing and assessing design quality
    • Work with design, research, program management, and product leaders on process for product development
    • Advocate for Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
    • Share ideas, successes, and knowledge to build trust and extend the reach of the discipline overall
    • Coach and mentor other designers within your team

What you’ll need to succeed:

    • Has an extensive track record for shipping delightful products and user experiences
    • Knows how to analyze a problem, consider research and data, then propose and deliver a solution
    • Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and helps to steer debates into decisions during team discussions
    • Demonstrates strong leadership and design direction, guiding design teams toward superlative outcomes
    • Mastery of Interaction Design and Visual UI design, supplemented with strong abilities in adjacent skills such as UX Research, UX Writing, Information Architecture, and Analysis and Insights Development.
    • Understands how design work connects with broader business value
    • Experience working in complex systems with multiple audiences and complicated workflows; enterprise SaaS and experience with different data visualization techniques is a plus
    • Possesses excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
