Reporting into the Director of Global Talent Operations, the duties and responsibilities of the Talent Operations Intern will revolve around the four major pillars of the organization - Tools & Systems, Talent Programs, Employer Brand, and the Emerging Talent Program. As a Talent Operations Intern, you will communicate across all levels of the organization, gain project management skills, and learn how a recruiting engine functions in a fast-paced tech company. You'll also coordinate ‘emerging talent ’-centered recruiting events and activities. The successful candidate is a creative, innovative thinker with strong communication skills and great attention to detail.
What you’ll do:
- Gain hands-on experience and exposure to talent acquisition activities including candidate engagement, scheduling, analytics/reporting, and eventually, hiring new interns & apprentices into the organization.
- Act as a point of contact for all intern & apprentice candidates, scheduling interviews, managing communications, and guiding them throughout the duration of their interview process.
- Help manage intern and apprentice pipelines through our applicant tracking system, Lever
- Assist the Talent Operations team with reporting and data analysis to support strategic and operational efforts.
- Support preparation of presentation materials and project launch materials (e.g., draft communications; content creation within Confluence, our knowledge management tool; meeting decks, etc.)
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned, leveraging administrative expertise to help deliver large-scale, global talent programs
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Keen interest in gaining experience in Talent Acquisition and/or HR
- Experience excelling in high-velocity environments
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with Google apps (Sheets, Slides, Doc)
- Experience with Microsoft Programs (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Dependability and interest in working in a team-oriented environment
- Approachable, with excellent communication and customer service skills
- You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and are eager to learn
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
- Previous recruiting/HR internship experience strongly preferred
- English and French language skills
- Commitment to 6 months, full-time
- Gap year/ End of study internship
