Contentsquare is looking for an AP Accountant to help support the growth of the business and development of our organization. This position will be focused on AP accounting, but will eventually evolve into a more general accounting role overtime as the team and technology that we use continue to grow.

You will be responsible for:

    • Purchasing accounting management
    • Allocation of supplier invoices to expense accounts using NetSuite software
    • Filing and archiving of paper documents (bank statements, invoices)
    • Creation and monitoring of virtual payment cards using Spendesk software
    • Verification and validation of expenses using Concur software
    • Setting up and monitoring payment schedules
    • Support of the monthly closing of accounts
    • Collaboration with various departments of the company (budget monitoring, agreement of payment terms, etc.)

Over time the role will evolve into general accounting responsibilities that may include:

    • Working in close collaboration with supplier accountants
    • Verification of expense reports and payments
    • Review of accruals and prepaid expenses during month end
    • Leading general accounting tasks with the accountants
    • Accounting for customer payments
    • Payroll: Check and prepare the journal entry as well as the related accruals: Paid holidays, Bonuses, commissions, etc.
    • Creation of new employees in the system and update
    • Accounting for entities outside France: Europe, APAC, EMEA
    • Monthly, quarterly and annual closing
    • Prepare depreciation and provisions
    • Review and centralize monthly accruals (FNP) and check prepaid expenses (CCA)

You should have:

    • Solid experience in an AP Accounting role in France
    • Diploma in Accounting from a French College or University
    • The ability to work on a fast paced environment and independently
    • Adaptability and attention to detail
    • Full professional proficiency with the French and English languages
    • Experience with NetSuite, Spendesk and/or Concur software would be ideal
    • Experience with accounting procurement tools of any kind would be preferred Purchasing accounting management
