We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team at Contentsquare. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our value creation and innovation efforts. Collaborating closely with our UX/UI Designers and Customer Success Managers, you will undertake various data analysis projects and services for our clients.

As an analyst, you will possess excellent listening and communication skills, enabling you to understand and persuade key decision-makers on the client side. Leveraging your expertise, your primary objective will be to transform data into compelling stories through clear and precise data visualizations in a timely and efficient manner.


Examples of the analyses you will conduct for our clients include product page analysis, addressing specific questions such as high cart drop-off rates, developing dashboards, benchmark services, and clustering, among others.

What you’ll do:

    • Deliver tailored, high-impact analyses to our clients, helping them unlock value from data.
    • Understand clients’ business goals and questions, and develop creative, data-driven approaches to answer them.
    • Conduct comprehensive UX analyses using both raw and Contentsquare-extracted data.
    • Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear, compelling way.
    • Become a subject matter expert in Contentsquare’s platform, data, and capabilities.
    • Perform exploratory analyses and partner with Product and R&D teams to contribute to feature ideation, defining specifications, and prioritizing roadmap items.
    • Act as a key point of contact for data insights and reliability, supporting internal teams like Customer Success, Product, and R&D.
    • Continuously develop and improve analytical methodologies and data visualizations.
    • Operate in a consultancy-style model as part of the Professional Services team, with a defined target.

What you’ll need to be successful:

    • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
    • Strong SQL skills with proven experience querying.
    • Familiarity with Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy, matplotlib) is a plus.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Passion for data, numbers, and turning complex findings into clear, compelling stories.
    • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage work independently and deliver organized, accurate results.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, technically challenging, and data-rich environment.
    • Skilled in data visualization and translating insights into business impact.
    • Experience working directly with clients, leveraging data to drive strategic recommendations and business decisions.

What makes you stand out:

    • Prior professional experience in eCommerce, Analytics, A/B testing, or data-oriented businesses.
    • Degree in a related field, Computer Science, Data science or statistics.
    • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Python or coding experience. 
    • Understanding of web performance and metrics that influence it.
    • Oral and written fluency in additional languages, particularly French, Spanish, Italian and German will be an added advantage.
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
For compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
