About the Position 
This VP of Sales, EMEA will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for leading the EMEA team. The VP will lead a team of Sales Executives, Channel Managers and Sales Engineers who are responsible for developing and closing new business within the assigned territory as well as creating opportunity within and finalizing sales of our current customer base while increasing revenues within the assigned region. The VP will be responsible for nurturing and developing the regional sales team which will include interviewing, hiring, and developing employees to ensure Sales Executives have a superior knowledge of solutions and sales process.

Responsibility / Scope

    • Lead, hire, manage, and provide vision to the EMEA team for the delivery of sales, business development and customer success related activities
    • Participate in sales forecasting and planning
    • Drive sales activities in the territory consistent with best practices
    • Create, present and review the Account Territory Plans for your team
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
    • Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales
    • Meet with key clients, mentor sales representatives to maintain relationships
    • and negotiate and close deals
    • Lead and manage a high performance, customer focused team of sales representatives
    • Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning/development
    • Maintain up-to-date understanding of competitors' activities and competitive offerings
    • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets

    • 7+ years of successful sales experience, within the Application Security space
    • 3+ years management experience
    • Proficiency with CRM tool (SalesForce.com preferred)
    • Experience selling security-related software or services
    • Experience leading a team of sales representatives
    • Proven track record of leading a team in a technology sales environment
    • Track record of consistently achieving quota and strategic objectives
    • Experience managing and closing complex sales with C-level decision makers
