About The Position

Our mission is to revolutionize application security. At Contrast Security, we offer a new approach to code security and application protection, from developers analyzing the first line of code through instrumenting a sophisticated enterprise DevSecOps lifecycle and deploying apps at scale. 

UX design is a key discipline within our product management team. We are looking for a Principal UX Designer to build amazing visualizations of our security outcomes. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all product life cycle stages, from early research and ideation to whiteboarding, prototyping, customer validation, and creating highly refined designs. This highly cross-functional, collaborative role will require someone who can lead design exercises that span multiple product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a track record of designing and delivering compelling user experiences for enterprise security, operations, or developer personas.

Responsibilities

    • Independently lead high-priority design projects that unify and contextualize outcomes across our entire platform
    • Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions that scale
    • Foster a customer-centric design culture that can directly impact product strategy
    • Work cross-functionally to drive designs from concept to implementation
    • Be highly driven by data and customer insights
    • Drive design alignment at various levels in the organization, including executive leadership
    • Provide leadership for the user experience discipline at Contrast. Drive best practices, processes, and tools.

Qualifications

    • 7+ years of design experience
    • Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
    • Experience with cutting-edge design tools and technologies
    • Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
    • Skilled at managing and influencing product leaders to help teams progress quickly
    • Experience in large-scale enterprise SaaS products is required
    • Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Application & Cloud Security, APM, XDR, CI/CD technologies

What We Offer

Salary and Other Compensation
This position's standard base pay range is $150,000 - $205,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
