Conversant Group is an IT infrastructure and security consulting company founded in 2009 and based in Chattanooga, TN. We are the world’s first Civilian Cybersecurity Force, dedicated to defeating cyber terrorists. To do so, Conversant Group is organized into three battalions: Athena7 which provides infrastructure assessment, strategy and remediation, Grypho5 which offers ongoing managed protection, and Fenix24 which provides rapid restoration in case of a cyberattack.



The Solutions Engineer role will help craft, design, and structure documents related to generating billable projects across the Conversant Group disciplines.  This role will partner with Product Management, Sales, and Subject Matter Experts as required to support client opportunities.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a tenacious attitude to seek and obtain relevant information while building repeatable processes.  This role will report to the Solutions Architect.
 
An ideal candidate will be able to:
- Complete LOE (Letter of Engagement) Requests in a timely manner.
- Respond to RFI’s and RFP’s.
- Take ownership of efforts and documentation to produce LOE’s and documents related to billable efforts in a timely manner.  

Key Responsibilities

    • Respond quickly to requests for LOEs (Letter of Engagement), RFI’s, RFP’s and other sales related documents.
    • Help create Labor Estimates to accompany LOEs, RFI’s, RFP’s, etc.
    • Work closely with product managers, account teams, and technical team members to build reusable templates for documents such as the LOE.
    • Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to Conversant Group business requirements.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field, or equivalent work history.
    • 3-5 years of experience writing and collaborating on proposals.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
    • Experience in working on large-scale projects with a focus on quality and timeliness.
    • Experience in large scale service delivery.
    • Experience in creating and revising business and sales documentation.
