About This Position:
The Managed Storage Senior role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions using Pure Storage and HPE Alletra MP, ensuring the availability and reliability of client storage. This role will report to the Manager, Managed Protection, and is 100% remote.

An ideal candidate will be able to:
·        Effectively design, deploy, and manage storage solutions for clients
·        Monitor and optimize storage performance to ensure high availability and reliability
·        Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching of storage systems
·        Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to other engineers
·        Solve highly complex engineering challenges for the team while utilizing all levels of technical resources
·        Rapidly and effectively execute deployment of products and solutions
·        Lead a growing team of engineers in excellence and professionalism
·        Act as a liaison to the broader companywide practice group in service development and ongoing refinement

Key Responsibilities

    • Perform engineering tasks in support of data protection services
    • Experience recovering from storage snapshots and maintaining storage immutability
    • Assist in and consult on client satisfaction escalations and incidents
    • Coordinate team technical escalations for clients, vendors, and team members
    • Draft, maintain, and evolve client and product documentation
    • Install, configure, and audit data protection platforms and applications
    • Review and consult on products, solutions, and client change control requests
    • Regularly perform team trainings on products and services
    • Collaborate on practice group operations, best practices, and service delivery methodologies
    • Coordinate and facilitate knowledge sharing to and from the practice group
    • Understand the client’s end goals and help create a plan to achieve them
    • Perform other tasks as needed to support Data Protection Practice Group initiatives
    • Participate in an on-call rotation
    • Communicate effectively in any form or medium

Preferred Skills

    • Demonstrated practical expertise in storage solutions, particularly Pure Storage and HPE Alletra MP
    • Consultative knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions like Cohesity and Rubrik
    • Manage dynamic and competitive priorities
    • Organize complex technical tasks for multiple clients simultaneously
    • Knowledge of information technology and managed services best practices
    • Experience with service delivery in a managed services practice organization
    • Experience with server, network, storage, and/or security support
    • Practical application of InfoSec principles

Qualifications

    • 7-10 years of storage and disaster recovery experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field, or equivalent work history
    • Pure Storage, HPE Storage, Cohesity, and Rubrik experience highly desired
    • Industry certifications in Microsoft, Cohesity, and VMware desired
    • Experience working for and within IT for various industries including the legal industry
    • Experience in large-scale service delivery
