Conversant Group is an IT infrastructure and security consulting company founded in 2009 and based in Chattanooga, TN. We are the world’s first Civilian Cybersecurity Force, dedicated to defeating cyber terrorists. To do so, Conversant Group is organized into three battalions: Athena7 which provides infrastructure assessment, strategy and remediation, Grypho5 which offers ongoing managed protection, and Fenix24 which provides rapid restoration in case of a cyberattack.

An Order Processing Specialist works closely with representatives from Deal Desk, Sales, Customer Success, Project Management, and Finance in support of Conversant Group's clients. In this position, you will prepare and place high revenue products and services client orders, work closely with our vendors and distributors to track physical and virtual products to their destination, deploy licensing, and document all received materials in our knowledge base. Further, you will be responsible for preparing reports on sold activity for leadership. This job reports to the Sales Operations Manager and is a part of the Sales Team. 


    • Create product purchase orders and client service agreements
    • Deploy managed software licensing based on client and internal orders
    • Troubleshoot order delays with business partners (Cisco, Citrix, Fortinet, HPE, CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Enzoic, eSentire, etc.)
    • Prioritize key client orders and be a strategic partner to revenue leaders throughout the order lifecycle
    • Create, analyze, and distribute order reports, monitoring open and in-fulfillment orders
    • Contribute to weekly Sales and Services calls by escalating relevant order status updates
    • Organize and tracks shipment and return of resold products
    • Manage inventory of products at company headquarters, including shipping and logistics for both client and internal orders
    • Understands and works towards improving department KPIs
    • Identify and proactively drive initiatives that increase efficiencies in the Ordering Process
    • Work with Finance to field inquiries from Customer Success for client business review meetings
    • Improve the team and company and invest in personal growth


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or relevant field experience
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software (familiarity with Salesforce and ConnectWise products a plus)
    • Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks to meet due dates
    • Comfortability with structure and routine
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Conversant Group’s Good Samaritan culture and values
