Conversant Group is an IT infrastructure and security consulting company founded in 2009 and based in Chattanooga, TN. We are the world’s first Civilian Cybersecurity Force, dedicated to defeating cyber terrorists. To do so, Conversant Group is organized into three battalions: Athena7 which provides infrastructure assessment, strategy and remediation, Grypho5 which offers ongoing managed protection, and Fenix24 which provides rapid restoration in case of a cyberattack.



The Process Manager reports to the Director of Security Assessments and will be managing process coordination for an exciting and fast-growing component of our business: Security Assessments. They will manage the entire process for the delivery of multiple assessments across a broad range of clients simultaneously.

Responsibilities

    • Leads and manages the entire assessment process starting at the time a client has signed an agreement through the final delivery of recommendations.
    • Develops project milestones/timelines and ensures completion as planned.
    • Identifies key resources and delegates tasks accordingly.
    • Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
    • Coordinates client interviews for Conversant subject matter experts.
    • Coordinates the gathering of technical information from clients and ensures no gaps exist.
    • Prepares materials for internal subject matter experts to efficiently conduct assessments.
    • Reviews final materials for quality and ensures all deliverables adhere to defined standards.
    • Identifies roadblocks and communicates to relevant parties.
    • Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options.
    • Adjusts schedules and targets based on changes to the project.
    • Maintains library of assets required to conduct assessments including tracking change requests and managing the governance process.
    • Supports pre-sales activities as requested.

Qualifications

    • Solid understanding of foundational technical infrastructure concepts and how they function inside an organization
    • Has at least 5-8 years of experience in the information technology industry
    • Experience with assessments and/or writing reports a plus
    • Project management experience preferred
    • Great writing, proofreading, communication, and organizational skills
    • Genuinely positive and curious personality
