Conversant Group is an IT infrastructure and security consulting company founded in 2009 and based in Chattanooga, TN. We are the world’s first Civilian Cybersecurity Force, dedicated to defeating cyber terrorists. To do so, Conversant Group is organized into three battalions: Athena7 which provides infrastructure assessment, strategy and remediation, Grypho5 which offers ongoing managed protection, and Fenix24 which provides rapid restoration in case of a cyberattack.



Grypho5 offers comprehensive managed services packages that provide our customers with a high-performing, secure infrastructure that stays one step ahead of the cyberterrorists that are constantly probing an organization’s defenses. 

The VP of Managed Services role will be principally responsible for leading a diverse group of engineering talent to maintain our contractual obligations and exceptional service. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer. An ideal candidate will be able to understand and manage the daily operations of delivering our managed protection service offerings.

Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Service Delivery division responsible for Grypho5 products and services
    • Lead a diverse team of engineering professionals to deliver reliable 24x7 operations, meeting business expectations across the product/service portfolio with continuous improvement, scalability, and accountability among its core values
    • Drive services life-cycle management improvements by establishing end-to-end service monitoring and analytics
    • Manage support and assist with escalated tickets as necessary 
    • Partner with all corporate functions to safely and successfully deliver Service Delivery to clients
    • Engage with clients to understand how our service is perceived and where gaps exist 
    • Partner with security, infrastructure, and service governance teams to deliver compliance with internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications
    • Effectively articulate complex technical concepts, problems, and solutions to audiences of varied seniority and technical acumen
    • Manage talent effectively, building diverse teams, promoting growth and development of internal talent and planning for progression and succession and mentoring future leaders

    • A management style that is collaborative, energetic, and results-oriented and ability to work with others to develop joint solutions and break down internal barriers
    • Practical application of InfoSec principles 
    • Holistically understand client IT environments and interdependencies 
    • Service Level Agreements & Contract Management 

Qualifications

    • 10+ years of leadership experience in Managed Services and/or technology infrastructure, and operations
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work history 
    • Advanced understanding of enterprise-level service delivery and key concepts in the development, maintenance, and operation of such services
    • Ability to influence others and drive consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups, including Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales partners
    • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by complex technical and business challenges
    • Experience in Large Scale Service Delivery (or Managed Services)
