The Account Manager role is focused on the strategic aspects of managing customer relationships with a roster of Core Digital Media clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is customer focused, resourceful and enjoys working cross-functionally in a fast-paced team environment to grow and learn. 
 
The Account Manager is responsible for both managing and growing key relationships directly with clients. The Account Manager focuses heavily on growing business with existing clients through superior customer service and business intelligence; communicates consistently and effectively as the primary point of contact for all client campaign management needs; develops and implements long-term account strategies to grow client revenue and maximize client ROI. The Account Manager will also field inbound inquiries from prospective new clients, develop campaign and pricing proposals and then manage them through the onboarding process as well as perform some light prospecting and outbound follow up with new prospects and past clients. 

Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain valued, trusted relationships with clients
    • Work cross-functionally with analytics, product, marketing and client service teams to grow and optimize client campaigns and meet client needs
    • Identify and present new client opportunities using data and analytics
    • Serve as primary, daily point of contact for client requests, campaign management, performance optimization, and billing reconciliation and needs
    • Manage and support new client on-boarding processes and on-going quality assessment
    • Develop and adhere to strategies that establish proactive communication, monitor and improve campaign performance and effectiveness, optimize value propositions, and position Core Digital Media brands as the most valued and respected lead generation services in the industry
    • Provide daily service and support to assigned accounts which may include problem solving, troubleshooting, and ad hoc reporting requests
    • Continually learn new product knowledge and acquire better account management skills
    • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products and services in the education lead space
    • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training seminars and workshops

Skills

    • Must be highly-organized and able to manage and prioritize tasks across a large and varied portfolio of clients
    • Excellent business writing and interpersonal skills
    • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Track record of proven success in a fast paced, high energy environment
    • Able to operate effectively as part of a team as well as independently 

Requirements

    • At least 2 or more years of account management experience
    • Develop and adhere to strategies that establish proactive communication, monitor and improve service results and effectiveness, optimize value propositions, and position LowerMyBills as the most profitable and value-added mortgage lead source
    • Analyze and resolve diverse, complex and technical issues via an in-depth knowledge of company’s products, services, industry and technical interfaces
    • Continually learn new product knowledge and acquire better selling skills
    • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products and markets for mortgage leads and mortgage lead generation
    • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training seminars and workshops
    • Maintain sales and productivity goals, as provided by management
    • Prepare routine periodic sales and activity reports as required
