CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build sustained, community-based response programs to natural disasters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE GA provides free vaccinations and additional resources to disadvantaged communities and emerging hotspots around Georgia. This is accomplished through maintaining strategic partnerships with local health agencies and community-based organizations to reach high-risk populations in vulnerable areas. CORE’s mobile vaccination teams require Assistant Team Supervisors to assist in leading these initiatives in the communities and maintain and strength local partnerships. The Mobile Unit Assistant Team Supervisor will assist with the scheduling, coordination and operations of vaccination events throughout the local health district. 
 
This is a hybrid position and will be in the field a minimum of 2-3 days a week. Some weeks may require 5 days in the field, and other weeks will be 2-3 days in the field and 2-3 days from home.

Responsibilities:

    • Assist with operations of the mobile vaccination unit to provide vaccinations and other available resources
    • Assist in set-up, operations, and break down of mobile sites; lead operations if the Team Supervisor is sick or on PTO
    • Adhere to safety protocols at all times
    • Support the Team Supervisor with the management and monitoring of supply and vaccine inventory
    • Monitor daily site operations and adapt to frequent changes
    • Report to Operations Manager and Team Supervisor for direction and communicate significant incidents
    • Research new site partners throughout the health district
    • Maintain and strengthen partnerships with site partners
    • Effectively communicate CORE’s mission, vision, core values & strategic direction to external groups and community partners
    • Initiate and maintain communications and strong relationships with all partners
    • Schedule and coordinate vaccination sites throughout the health district; point of contact for all correspondence
    • Perform site assessments or meetings with partners in the field to determine functionality of potential COVID-19 vaccination sites; develop a site map as needed.
    • Input site information into the main scheduling system on Excel and patient registration system, Curogram
    • Facilitate all insurance documents needed to successfully run COVID-19 vaccination sites with our partners, specifically the Certificate of Liability Insurance through CORE and the partner
    • Submit all mandatory data reporting by the deadline
    • Participate in health district strategic plan
    • Support the Health Outreach Coordinator with additional tasks as needed, including, but not limited to the following: sharing community resources information with program staff and clients; track and monitor program data and deliverables; distribute incentives on site; assist clients with applications to public assistance programs such as SNAP, WIC, TANF, Medicaid, etc.
    • Perform any other work-related duties if applicable.

Qualifications:

    • Available Full-Time, 40 hours a week, including weekends (weekly schedule varies, 5 days/week)
    • At least 21 years old, eligible to drive a CORE vehicle
    • Live in, or in close proximity to the local health district office
    • Fluency in another language, particularly Spanish is preferred  
    • Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites
    • Excellent written and spoken English, bilingual ability in Spanish is a distinct advantage
    • Comfortable traveling up to 1-3 hours from work base in company vehicle
    • Comfortable working outdoors
    • Excellent analytical skills, observation and analysis capacity
    • Able to remain calm under pressure and stay flexible in changing environments on site
    • Stay adaptable to changes in policy, procedure, protocol, and weather
    • Responsive, motivated, willingness to take responsibility
    • Attentive to detail, well organized, and a practical a problem-solver
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite; willingness to learn other platforms
    • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds 
$25 - $25 an hour
In accordance with law, the expected pay range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
