Logistics Manager to oversee the distribution of essential Nonfood Items (NFIs)—such as air purifiers and hygiene kits—to vulnerable populations affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. This role ensures efficient delivery operations, manages warehouse staff and drivers, and maintains inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management – Manage communication, data collection, reporting, client, donor and stakeholder coordination, and reporting for distribution events and individual delivery of air purifiers.
- Coordinate Deliveries – Plan and oversee the timely distribution of NFIs to affected communities.
- Manage Logistics Personnel – Supervise warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring smooth operations.
- Inventory & Warehouse Oversight – Use Relief Compass to track stock levels, organize storage, and maintain accurate records.
- Route & Schedule Planning and Dispatch – Develop delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Compliance & Safety – Ensure all logistics activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies, as guided by CORE’s Global Procurement and Logistics Department.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Work with local agencies, vendors, and community partners to streamline distribution efforts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. Experience managing emergency response programs, specifically as it relates to site management and distribution of NFIs.
- Experience managing logistics and warehouse operations a plus
Experience:
- Experience: One year of using the Relief Compass platform for logistics and inventory management.
- Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Minimum two years’ experiencemanaging projects and relationships with government and private sector partners.
- Other: Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours as needed
Skills and Competencies:
- Communication & Coordination – Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with teams, vendors, and community partners.
- Data & Reporting Skills – Ability to track shipments, analyze logistics performance, and generate reports.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management – Understanding of inventory control, distribution planning, and warehouse operations.
- Problem-Solving – Quick thinking and adaptability to resolve logistical challenges.
- Route Planning & Transportation Management – Experience optimizing delivery routes and schedules.
- Technical Proficiency – Experience with logistics, inventory, and fleet management software.
- Regulatory Compliance – Knowledge of safety protocols, transportation regulations, and disaster response procedures.
$78,000 - $78,000 a year
In accordance with CA law, the expected pay range for this CA position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
