Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Angular.
- Analyze, estimate, and take ownership of different engineering tasks delivering efficient solutions with the best quality code.
- Write high quality code with a focus on Unit Test coverage and Definition of Done.
- Collaborate across teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Provide technical guidance to other team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 7+ years of professional experience with Angular.
- Solid understanding of frontend build tools (e.g. Node, NPM, Webpack or Gulp).
- Experience with JS component libraries (e.g. Storybook).
- Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape).
- Strong understanding of software development process & lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodology.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
- Proactive, accountable, autonomous, and solutions-oriented.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript.
- Experience working on Agile Projects.
- Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment.
- A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page).
- A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
- Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
