Cornershop [www.cornershopapp.com/] was founded in 2015 and has become the leading on-demand grocery delivery platform in Mexico and Chile. Now backed by Accel and Uber, we've recently launched in Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and now the U.S.! 

The secret sauce to our successful growth to date is our operations. We have great customer cohorts and mostly organic growth driven by consistently high-quality service. 

We are currently searching for Account Managers to join our team in the following cities: San Francisco, CA;  New York, NY; Miami, FL; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX. This role offers an opportunity to be one of the first employees in the company in the US office. Help revolutionize the grocery shopping experience for Americans!

What will you do?
-Build and nurture relationships with new stores and vendors for the Cornershop platform.
-Use various sales methods (cold calling, emailing, presentations, etc.) to creatively and effectively find and cultivate new high-value SMB retail partnerships.
-Lead the end to end sales process from qualifying prospects, pitching and closing.
-Lead contract negotiations aimed at establishing the foundation of a strong working relationship with our retail partners, including sustainable economics for both parties.
-Build meaningful, lasting relationships to make Cornershop the platform of choice for our retail partners.
-Work within our CRM to track progress; report out weekly to team leads and leadership.
-Act as a business contact for retail accounts, develop corporate contracts, and maintain long term relationships.
-Work cross-functionally with managers across product, tech, and ops to ensure we deliver a flawless experience to our partners.
-Launch new grocers and specialty stores on the platform.
-Review store applications and signing contracts.
-Participate in monthly and quarterly business review with top management of the grocers and specialty store partners.
-Work together with the content and product team to maintain the product catalog.
-Formulate plans to improve out of stock rate.
-Train and manage commercial contacts of grocers and specialty stores in internal tools (B2B portal) for real-time tracking of business variables.
-Manage the omni-channel marketing strategy with grocers and specialty stores.
-This position will have broad exposure, with the US being our top priority market. 

What are we looking for?
-Excellent customer service skills are essential.
-2-4 years in the retail industry in commercial or sales area.
-Entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on working style
-Strong communication skills.
-Prior experience in e-commerce considered an asset.
-Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
-A passion for groceries!
