What Do We Do?

Cornershop is a Uber owned grocery delivery service with operations in Chile, Mexico, Canada and most recently, US, Brazil, Columbia, Peru, and Costa Rica! We are currently searching for a Global Head of Communications to join our team based out of San Francisco. 

What Will You Do?
-Develop and lead our overall communications strategy, inclusive of public relations, media relations, crisis communications, internal communications and social media/community functions
-Develop our corporate narrative and messaging pillars and activate this throughout our communications programs 
-Cultivate and maintain relationships with media, journalists and influential professionals
-Advise senior leadership on internal and executive communications
-Build, train and retain an exceptional team of communications professionals 
-Partner with Head of Marketing and Head of HR on internal communications
-Be a problem solver for day to day communications needs
-Collaborate with team on their public speaking events including training, messages, talking points to ensure comprehensive voice 
-Act as a spokesperson where required 

What Are We Looking For?
-Several years experience managing message development and media relations in a regulated and ultra-competitive consumer product marketplace
-Scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit with aptitude for overcoming obstacles with limited resources
-Strong relationships with preferred media outlets, including financial press and mainstream print and television
-Precise, empathetic communication skills in both 1:1 and company-level settings
-Experience using research and data to draw consumer insights, track campaign performance, and iterate on our PR strategy
-A repeated pattern of developing high-performing team members
-A belief in the importance of providing access to sustainable forms of transportation
-Excellent communications skills and ability to speak in public
-Professional level of writing and editing skills are a must
-Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
