Leveraging your previous experience, you will:
-        Have Security Policy and Procedure writing and Audit experience with the ability to produce first drafts of new policies and guide an iterative update process
-        Be well-versed in Security Controls
-        Be capable of delivering very tactical work as necessary
-        Deal well with ambiguity and be flexible with change
-        Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with the ability to adjust messages based on audience and purpose
-        Be a Thought Leader – show initiative, work well with limited direction, recognize opportunities for improvement, and provide meaningful recommendations
-        Be intrinsically motivated; a self-starter with a high degree of business acumen
 
We’d love to hear from people with:
-        Bachelor’s Degree
-        5+ years of experience working with security and compliance laws and regulations to include strong experience with the NIST 800-171 and CMMS 2.0 security frameworks
-        U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract
-        Experience with audit and/or risk functions covering risk identification, mitigation, and management (i.e., operational risk, compliance risk, credit risk, market risk, technology risk, etc.)
-        Experience working with multiple large, complex customer engagements and deliverables including governance, risk or compliance strategy, compliance program pre-assessments, and risk-based and cost-optimized variance mitigation recommendations
-        Experience creating government system security plan (SSP) and/or plan of action & milestone (POA&M) documentation
-        Understanding of end-to-end information protection and assurance best practices
-        The ability to communicate with and present to senior leadership levels with strong capability to work effectively across functional teams including legal, compliance, business operations, IT, and client supply chain
-        Experience working in a client focused/consulting work environment
-        Experience achieving results in deadline driven, high ambiguity environments
-        Experience working in a large heavily matrixed organization
-        Experience leading the planning, scope, risk, and issue management of strategic, large scale/enterprise technology projects
 
Preferred Skills & Experience (optional)
-        Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP)
-        Project Management experience in the Security and Compliance space
-        Experience leading technical teams in the Security and Compliance space
-        DoD, Government, and/or Military experience

Salary range: $86,000 - $146,500
 
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
 
Company offered benefits: Eligible employees are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and long-term disability insurance. Eligible employees are also able to enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Eligible employees will receive 15 days of vacation per year and nine paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
