The Supplier Business Acceleration team is a small and agile team in Coupa, that is focused on impacting the lives of Coupa’s 5M+ supplier community by delivering tools, services and resources to help them grow their business, operate efficiently and get paid faster, resulting in an ecosystem which connects each and every dot along the supply chain, accessible to buyers the world over.It's a fantastic opportunity to leverage your technical skills to build an ecosystem that is used by some of the largest companies in the world.

On a daily basis you will:

    • Being a hands-on contributor is a key responsibility in this role.
    • Design and develop applications that are highly scalable and secure.
    • Participate in operational design and code review.
    • Architect and develop one or more major areas of the Coupa platform.
    • Collaborate iteratively with PMs to help define and clarify requirements and scope.
    • Find creative, elegant and maintainable solutions to complex problems.
    • Advocate best practices (unit/automation testing, code reviews, code quality, etc.).Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life.
    • Continually look for opportunities to improve our platform, process and business.

Our ideal candidate will have

    • Minimum of 7+ years of software development experience.
    • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
    • 5+ years of experience with C++,
    • Experience designing, estimating, implementing and maintaining complex systems.
    • Proven understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
    • Experience working in an agile environment that follows Scrum or other agile methodologies.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of portability, security/access control, scalability, high availability, and concurrency.
    • Experience working with C++ STL, Boost, OpenMP, ODBC, and GUI programming (ideally wxWidgets).
    • Knowledge of SQL, Python, C#, React, HTML and CSS is an advantage.
    • A self-motivated, go-getter, passion for learning, strong communication skills in both English and German.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or equivalent experience.
    • Experience developing software for Fintech, Banking or Financial Services companies is a plus.
