Coupa Software is looking for a Commissions Analyst to join our growing Sales Commissions team. The Commissions Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the end-to-end global sales commissions plan, including generating individual compensation plans, creating calculation inputs, and performing monthly calculations for commissions payout. This role will partner closely with Coupa’s Finance, Sales and Operations teams and have the ability to make a direct impact with Coupa’s sales commissions plans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monthly global sales commission calculation by creating monthly system uploads, reconciling calculations and reporting on results
- Review monthly sales order information to ensure accurate commissions calculations
- Manage large data sets to identify and reconcile monthly commissions calculations and transform into actionable insights
- Support the creation and distribution of individual sales commission plans for new employees
- Support quarterly and annual audit processes
- Provide exceptional support and resolve commission inquiries to sales and sales management
- Build documentation to effectively manage all sales commissions processes
- Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and Human Resources to maintaining monthly commission reporting and ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to compile, transform, analyze, and present complex data sets
- Demonstrated ownership, problem solving, attention to detail and analytical skills
- High level of integrity and ability to navigate gray areas to arrive at appropriate business / customer-focused conclusions
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and stay motivated in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while deliver high quality results
- Prior experience in working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- 1+ years experience in sales commissions or adjacent functions
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems as well as commissions management tools like Xactly
