    • Responsibilities include:
    • Manage Successful Delivery of Database development projects.
    •   Manage customer expectations and work with Coupa / Customer project managers to meet project time line and quality obligations.
    • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client site
    • Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
    • Create database design, stored procedures, and all aspects of database development
    • Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
    • Prepare documentations and specifications
    • Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
    • Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders


    •   3-6 years of overall experience working with database development.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and other popular databases
    • Strong proficiency with database designing and TSQL stored procedure development
    • Strong capabilities in performance turning, and other database administrative aspects
    • Strong programming skills using Microsoft tools and technologies, preferably C#, VB.NET, and PowerShell Scripting
    • Experience with some of the modern relational databases
    • Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
    • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
    • Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
    • Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
    • Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
    • Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as TFS, GIT, and/or SVN
