Job Duties:
Develop and own the vision for Coupa’s Procurement and Search platform by conducting in-depth industry analysis and competitive research. Use business intelligence tools like BI Domo Analytics, Metabase, MSFT SQL to conduct and present business analysis.  
Conduct product analysis against competitors such as Apttus, IBM Emptoris or Ariba using Google applications and Microsoft.
Build the vision of Coupa’s Procurement and Search taking into account customer requests and market strategy.
Communicate Procurement and Search product’s vision and roadmap to Coupa’s customers and prospects via forums such as the Coupa Community and face-to-face or phone call meetings with customers.
Represent Coupa platform, and Coupa Procurement and Search product in particular at customer conferences, such as Coupa Inspire, DocuSign conference and other events.
 
Document and prioritize requirements for new product enhancements with input from marketing, sales, solution consultants, operations, support, engineering, other product managers, and UX design from concept to release. Use tools like Balsamiq and Moqups to prototype and design product concepts.
 
Create detailed requirements and design documents.
Develop detailed functional requirement and design documents in JIRA, including user interaction and usability designs using tools such as Lucidchart. Where required, the Senior Product Manager will interface with UX designers to help develop the user interaction.
Document performance, scalability and reporting needs.
Define acceptance criteria and specify happy paths, edge cases and error conditions for each feature and user interaction using JIRA and Confluence software.
 
Manage the delivery of the product release under the Agile development methodology by working closely with engineering, quality and release teams and through all phases of product lifecycle, including design, build and test of requirements. Design and prototype product concepts using software like Balsamiq and Moqups.  
Partner closely with the engineering, architecture and quality engineering teams during the technical design and development phases to ensure product features requirements are met.
Validate data designs to ensure reporting needs will be met.
Review test scripts developed by quality engineers.
Participate in scrum meetings and daily standups, to ensure that product is being developed to specifications and provide oversight for change management.
 
Monitor or track product release milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate product development and release tracking activities with engineering and release managers to ensure that development timelines are met.
Participate in sprint review meetings to ensure that releases are tracking on-time and to help develop risk mitigation plans where needed.
 
Help identify solutions to customer reported defects as well as issues that arise during product development using Salesforce and JIRA.  
Conduct user studies across current and future customers and integrate findings into strategic product vision as well as product requirements to maximize customer value and customer success upon delivery of product features.
 
Formulate, coordinate product development across project personnel in engineering, pricing, sales and documentation teams to bring new concepts to life.
Coordinate product development and release tracking activities with engineering and release managers to ensure that development timelines are met.
Review product feature and release documentation.
 
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration,Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of work experience as Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or a related occupation required.  
 
The required work experience must include 2 years of experience with the following:
·Competitive research, user studies and Agile product development;
·BI Domo analytics;
·JIRA and Confluence; and
·Lucidchart.
