Coupa’s Site Reliability Engineers are part of the Cloud Operations team, owning end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical service and building automation to prevent problem recurrence. SREs provide administration of Linux machines, web servers, application servers and infrastructure support for customer environments.
What you will do:
- Provide technical expertise to an Operations team to manage the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of the Coupa Cloud
- Build upon the high standards of Coupa Cloud Operations through an automation-first philosophy, collective ownership, and continuous learning
- Develop strong relationships with Engineering, Performance, Support, and Success teams to improve the reliability, performance, availability, and security of the Coupa Cloud
- Administer Windows/Linux servers in a massive-scale public cloud environment
- Develop new automation and administration tools
- Deploy product releases and maintenance updates
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Has a degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of professional experience.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby)
- Strong development experience in Chef, Ansible or equivalent as a configuration management tool.
- Strong runbook automation experience using Rundeck or equivalent tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Cloud/SaaS architecture using AWS and/or Azure platforms
- Has a solid understanding of networking systems and protocols
- Knowledge/Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub actions/workflows or equivalent)
- Administration of Linux machines, Windows servers, Web servers, Application servers, and Databases.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and coding principles
- Experience with Artifact repositories deployment, configuration, and management.
- Knowledge of massive-scale public or private cloud operations, automation, orchestration, and monitoring
- Will be confident in their ability to own and deliver projects and issues to resolution
- Is an excellent communicator
- Can think and act globally
- Has a passion for solving problems and a strong automation mindset
