Responsibilities

    • Administration of Linux machines, Web servers, Application servers, Databases Application and infrastructure support for customer environments
    • Own end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
    • Tools development and automation using Ruby, Rails, Capistrano, etc. to increase availability and performance 
    • Collaborate with Product and Release engineering for new product releases and maintenance 
    • Coordinate change management
    • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies 
    • Collaborate with Product and Support teams to plan and deploy product releases 

Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree 9+ years of professional experience
    • 5+ years of production system administration and web operations experience 
    • 2+ years of experience with programming using Java, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby or equivalent 
    • 3+ years of experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt or equivalent 
    • Experience with AWS or comparable cloud provider
    • Experience in massive scale web operations
    •  Expertise in problem solving and analysing global scale distributed systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
