At CourtAvenue, the Account Director (who we affectionately refer to as the Director, Business Innovations) acts as our client’s partner, understanding their business needs and championing them within CourtAvenue. The Director, BI is highly accountable and supports two Executive Business Innovations leaders; strategically guiding the business and providing innovative and valuable input to help solve the most complex challenges. They are ambitious, driven to ignite growth, exceptional at navigating ambiguity, and are experts in communication. This role is deeply connected to their client(s) and teams, building meaningful and constructive relationships across both organizations that produce results. The Director, Business Innovations is an extremely external-facing role; representing as the voice of the customer internally and helping the client navigate their own internal complexities.

Responsibilities

    • Ensure overall client satisfaction and health of the business, with a focus on achieving high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
    • Focus on building client trust and broadening of stature within the client organization.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert by having a clear understanding of the client’s business and their industry.
    • Lead and provide a Point of View (POV) to the account and creative teams with all client initiatives to ensure client strategy and objectives are met, ensuring "no surprises" for the client.
    • Help the client navigate internal processes and challenges effectively.
    • Manage teams on multiple programs/projects simultaneously while meeting all deliverable deadlines.
    • Responsible for organic account growth and retention, uncovering new opportunities for expansion of scope, contributing to profitable growth.
    • Champion cohesive team environments that are open and collaborative with the ability to create energy and excitement around ideas.
    • Pull integrated activities together across agency partners, departments, and disciplines to move client business through production to launch.
    • Assess and recommend successful strategies for building efficiencies, streamlining operations, and enhancing the value of the agency to the client.
    • Pay sharp attention to detail to ensure agency work follows digital marketing best practices and leading technologies.
    • Professionally manage a variety of engagements while being held accountable for deliverables that are on-time, on-budget, and of maximum value for client growth.
    • Build and maintain relationships with core clients by regularly collaborating onsite at client offices in Dallas - approx 2 days per week.

Requirements

    • Hands-on experience running accounts, working with senior stakeholders, and successfully organizing, managing, and delivering a diverse range of innovative projects.
    • Strong background in digital and performance marketing or brand consultancy environment.
    • At least 8 years of marketing or advertising experience required.
    • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
    • Proven track record of structuring, leading, and developing complex client relationships while communicating effectively across functional teams.
    • Entrepreneurial attitude partnered with a strong business acumen; ability and drive to bring people together, create energy around ideas, and recommend actionable strategies.
    • Intuitive and perceptive, with outstanding communications skills; comfortable and confident in strategic discussions and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
    • Excellence in organization and management; conscientious, and skilled at solving issues at all project levels while supporting colleagues and clients.
    • Strong relationship building qualities.
    • Experience identifying business development opportunities and translating them into actionable growth opportunities.
    • Ability to gracefully manage multiple programs and/or projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-starter with a passionate attitude and sense of commitment to get the job done quickly, properly, and with the highest quality.
    • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills.
$135,000 - $155,000 a year
Final compensation will be dependent on the total related experience of the candidate.
