THE ROLE
You will be collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to build, maintain, and test robotic cells for new and exciting applications of our robotics AI technology.

YOU WILL

    • Oversee/coordinate the office’s cleaning services contractor
    • Oversee buildings/grounds maintenance, interfacing with the landlord for facility work
    • Coordinating with and scheduling contractors, including managing service contracts
    • Oversee office security and interface with alarm system company
    • Ensure the office is a safe work environment, and within compliance with regulatory bodies’ safety regulations
    • Prepare for and schedule fire and other city inspections
    • Organize, catalog, and curate robot-picking item sets
    • Aid installation and assembly of R&D systems and components in the office
    • Perform routine support and maintenance of in-house robotic systems
    • Run performance benchmarking and other experiments to support production and R&D activities
    • Managing inventory of office supplies including stocking and organizing office snacks and supplies
    • Partnering as necessary with the supply chain and people teams for shipping and receiving mail and packages including organizing mail and directing it to its recipient
    • Helping out as necessary to ensure the office is a productive place of work

YOU HAVE

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 5 years experience in similar roles
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to learn quickly on the job, not afraid to try new things and pick up new skills
    • Proficiency with simple hand tools (Allen keys, screwdrivers) and power tools (hand drill, jig saw)

NICE TO HAVES

    • BA or equivalent in facility management, business, information management, or engineering
