As a Game Design Director you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented production teams to build and fine-tune progression systems and their economics for our amazing games.  

Responsibilities:

-Design diverse game features that enhance core gameplay and support live operations.
-Create detailed design documentation such as one-pagers, detailed specifications, wireframes, and flowcharts for new features, monetization strategies, in-game events, and more.
-Act as the go-to person for all economy design and progression matters, shaping and refining our monetization strategies and business models to create a win-win situation for both players and the studio.
-Maintain cohesive strategies and brand experiences across various departments including product, marketing, and live operations.
-Support live operations for implementing enhancements and fixes to ensure optimal product quality and player experience.
-Continuously improve the game's monetization systems and player retention strategies.
Engage in continuous research and refinement of the game’s core loop to ensure it remains engaging and replayable.
-Stay abreast of current trends and consumer preferences in game design and dive deep into the intricacies of existing games, meticulously auditing their business models and progression systems
-Identify opportunities to enhance implementation efficiency, process optimization, and collaborative efforts.
-Use qualitative and quantitative methods to benchmark, validate and refine design ideas.
-Review, analyze, and report on other games.
-Actively seek, welcome, and incorporate feedback and research.

Qualifications:

-Profound passion for gaming, including playing, analyzing, and discussing games in depth.
-Minimum of 5 years in game design within the industry, including at least 2 years of experience with mobile game titles.
-Experience designing a variety of game systems and events in a live operations setting.
-Understanding how to balance a high quality, fun player experience with product goals.
-Strong ability to consult and lead downwards, upwards, and partner relationships for gameplay design.
-Expertise in game balancing and economy, using tools such as spreadsheets and data analysis, and experience in feature documentation and monetization within a free-to-play model.
-Experience with 3D development engines such as Unity or Unreal
-Understanding of live operations requirements, content, and planning.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
