Beta Engineering is currently searching for a Civil Engineering Technician (CET) to join our team. Civil Engineering Technicians (CET) assist civil engineers with layout of designs in computer aided design software. CETs generate and review project drawings ensuring compliance to design specifications. In addition, CETs will calculate material quantities based on designs. CETs work as part of a project team to ensure designs meet appropriate specifications and requirements.
Vocational or technical certification as a Civil or Industrial Engineering Technician or an Associate Degree in a similar program is the minimum requirement. Bachelor’s Degree as a Civil or Industrial Engineering Technician is preferred.
Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Experience in the following applications are required: AutoCAD, Inventor, or Civil 3D
COMPENSATION:
$44,095 - $88,846 per year
Salary range is estimated. Actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications and application of any geographic salary differential.
