By joining our rapidly growing Risk Advisory practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to drive positive impacts through the design and execution of sound technology risk programs, including IT governance, risks, and compliance; cybersecurity, cloud, privacy, third party risk management, data, and resiliency.

Successful Managing Consultants will execute independent analyses, develop actionable client-facing deliverables, and create thought leadership that provides our clients with creative and efficient approaches in a world of constantly evolving risks, controls, and regulations.

What You'll Do:

    • Lead Engagements and project teams providing the following types of servics to our clients:
    • Program and control-level audits, assessments, and technical testing, generate findings and recommendations, and produce deliverables that offer actionable insights to clients
    • Risk Transformation (including program strategy & roadmaps, operating model design, executive reporting, training & awareness, and tabletops & exercises)
    • Risk Management (including maturity assessments, policy & playbook development, third party risk management, and regulatory & audit readiness)
    • Privacy and Data Protection (including program design & implmenetation, data discovery & classification, and data protection technology selection)

    • Oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects, including engagement planning, budget development, progress monitoring, and quality control of deliverables
    • Lead working meetings with clients and participate in formal client briefings
    • Develop polished, and insightful work products and deliverables in multiple formats (e.g. Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
    • Provide excellent client service and develop and nurture client relationships, serving as a liaison between clients and project teams, understanding their business needs, and delivering responsive and high-quality service
    • Lead sales and proposal efforts; creating meaningful value propositions and outcomes for our clients
    • Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted issues

What You'll Bring:

    • 5+ years of executing on complex engagements at a consulting or accounting firm, or commensurate experience in risk management, privacy, cyber, or IT audit departments
    • Strong technical and analytical skills across IT audit, IT controls, cybersecurity, cloud, and/or emerging technologies
    • Understanding of the components of a comprehensive risk management program, including governance, policy, organizational design, awareness and training, architecture, technologies, processes, and controls
    • Professionalism and discretion when interacting with executives and clients, with polished verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve multifaceted issues
    • Enthusiasm, entrepreneurialism, and energy while working in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
    • Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% - 30% (travel varies based on client preferences)
    • Willingness to be present on client site or in office 3 days a week, with 2 days a week remote (hybrid office environment)
$127,000 - $182,000 a year
