By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation – Large Enterprise (Commercial) practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. As an Associate Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, leading teams and developing junior team members, and participating in business development activities.

What you'll do:

    • Lead execution of Business Transformation projects including (but not limited to):
    • System strategy and selection
    • Finance function strategy (target future state vision; assessment and roadmap)
    • Operating model / global business services - business case, optimization, transition management
    • Process and operations performance improvement
    • Digital technology strategies and enablement - Intelligent automation, data analytics
    • Change management, program or project management

    • Identify, assess, and analyze business challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of our client’s capabilities in the context of their desired end state objectives including, overall strategy, systems strategy and selection, operating model, process performance, workforce and organization design and change/program management
    • Develop client relationships at various levels and identify new opportunities to expand scope of services delivered and be a trusted advisor
    • Assist in the planning and execution of projects and supervise others to ensure:  coordination of work efforts, completion of defined deliverables, adherence to project and budget milestones and timelines and communication of progress to internal and external stakeholders
    • Determine client issues and assess performance by using standard assessment techniques and tools and innovative approaches
    • Analyze data, validate analysis and develop recommendations in the context of the overall client engagement
    • Assess and escalate project issues, risks, or conflicts to leadership and suggest resolutions
    • Proactively partner with CrossCountry Consulting’s leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training, and organizational development
    • Hold team accountable and drive change through effective project management, communications and performance management
    • Contribute knowledge and best practices of key service offerings, solutions (e.g., methodologies, frameworks, tools, pitches, deliverables)  
    • Assist with integrations and identifying efficiencies between the client’s accounting systems and other tools
    • Participate in business development activities including: development and presentation of client pitches and proposals

What you'll bring:

    • 9+ years' experience in relevant consulting (public accounting or advisory firm), finance transformation, CIO advisory, or relevant industry experience
    • Strong strategic planning skills with past experience working with C-Suites executives to build out Organizational Level Strategic Roadmaps.
    • Develop and implement Finance and/or IT operating models that align with business objectives and drive efficiency
    • Ability to lead large-scale multi-year projects
    • Excellent communication skills required – must develop, implement, and maintain sources of project information, communicating appropriate information to client as well as other team members
    • Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally
    • Passionate about building, developing, motivating, and leading others
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a “big picture” perspective
    • Creativity, confidence, and flexibility
    • High energy, tenacious, enthusiastic, and an entrepreneurial spirit

    • Preferred knowledge and experience for CFO Advisory/Finance Transformation candidates:
    • Finance and accounting current-state assessments including finance strategy, business case and roadmap
    • Finance and accounting process improvement including experience in core end-to-end processes (Account-to-Report, Purchase-to-Pay, Contract-to-Cash, in addition to planning and forecasting, reporting and other FP&A functions)
    • Finance technology strategy and roadmap
    • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
    • Operating model, including shared services and outsourcing advisory services
    • Use case development and deployment of digital workforce leveraging AI, ML and RPA

    • Preferred knowledge and experience for CIO Advisory candidates:
    • Lead and oversee cloud migration strategies, ensuring seamless and secure transitions for clients
    • Drive application rationalization initiatives, optimizing the application portfolio for efficiency and effectiveness
    • Develop and execute IT vendor sourcing strategies, fostering strategic partnerships, and optimizing vendor relationship
    • Identify opportunities for IT cost optimization, developing and implementing cost-effective solutions

Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or other technical disciplines; Master’s degree or post graduate degree from a college or university is a plus

Travel:

    • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%

For applicants located in New York, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $120,000 - $254,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
