By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, business development, leading teams and developing junior team members, as well as serving as a member of CrossCountry’s leadership team.
What You'll Do:
- Business Development
- Lead and support business development cycles to position and propose CrossCountry’s breadth of solutions across Business Transformation, Technology Enablement, Risk Management and Accounting Advisory services.
- Leverage existing network and referral sources to develop newly originated business across CrossCountry’s suite of solutions and services.
- Develop pipeline and pull through opportunities to generate add-on business and support revenue generation from existing clients.
- Partner with leadership across service lines to create relationships. perform account planning and develop sell through and pull through opportunities to drive revenue generation.
- Understand CrossCountry’s technology partnerships and develop partner relationships to lead sales cycles and support Go To Market initiatives.
- Project Delivery
- Lead office of the CFO assessments and roadmaps as the starting point to develop and drive enterprise programs, that include the Transformation and Change Management Office function.
- Provide subject matter expert expertise across key business processes within the Office of the CFO including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Close, Budgeting & Planning, Management Reporting and Analytics.
- Provide subject matter expertise and best practice guidance on enterprise FinTech solutions that enable the Office of the CFO, including ERP, EPM, Analytics and NextGen reporting solutions.
- Guide CFO teams with a point-of-view on AI solutions, where these solutions exist within the CFO tech stack and how CFO teams can implement these solutions to add value to their organizations.
- Oversee delivery teams, providing senior project leadership and managing evolving client management needs for operational and change initiatives.
- Lead initiatives across the project lifecycle including current state evaluation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation across the organizational, business process, technology (financial systems), and data.
- Identify opportunities to further develop client relationships and expand the level of services and solutions provided to clients.
- Practice Leadership
- Serve as a leader in our Business Transformation service line by guiding and directing strategic firm initiatives around process and technology capabilities, change management and program/project management expertise to assist organizations with designing and implementing change initiatives around the finance function/office of the CFO.
- Support the practice’s strategic direction by proactively monitoring industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and evaluating potential impacts.
- Account management in overseeing client engagements, maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel, have a solid understanding of clients’ business, and ensure quality of deliverables and satisfaction on engagements.
- Coaching and Development: provide coaching and training opportunities for team members leveraging individual skills and the firm’s people first culture.
- Recruiting and Retention: take an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring and retaining top talent.
- Thought Leadership: sharing expertise in technical domain(s) with team members and clients, including case studies, white papers, learning materials, and other resources.
What You'll Bring:
- 15+ years of relevant experience working within professional services advising enterprise commercial companies in the following areas:
- Strategy: OCFO Roadmaps, Transformation & Change Management Office, Business Process Optimization, AI Strategy, Implementation Readiness
- Business Processes: P2P, O2C, R2R, Financial Close, Budgeting & Planning, Financial Reporting and Analytics.
- Technical Areas: One or more areas of Enterprise ERP (Oracle Cloud ERP, NetSuite, SAP S/4 HANA, Workday, Microsoft), EPM/CPM (Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan), NextGen Reporting & Analytics (MS Azure, Alteryx, PowerBI)
- Track record originating sales opportunities and supporting teams in closing sales cycles
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve complex and multi-faceted issues
- Experience advising private equity-backed and/or high-growth clients is a plus, but not required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- MBA degree from an accredited university (preferred)
