The Product Marketing Manager, SPORT (CrossFit Games & associated season) will be responsible for coordinating and executing a broad range of deliverables by working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. You will manage initiatives from ideation through to launch, demonstrating both analytical acumen and creative skills. By building on the value proposition of CrossFit Sport, this key role will work cross-functionally to drive Open registrations and Games ticket sales, among other initiatives. This role will also drive awareness, consideration, and participation in CrossFit events in global and local markets.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:            
      Strategic Planning:
      Drive the execution of go-to-market strategies for CrossFit Sport to build interest and participation in CrossFit-hosted events, as well as licensed events that align with CrossFit’s growth strategy
      Campaign Development and Execution:
      Help create and execute integrated marketing campaigns to support CrossFit Sport growth and maximize customer acquisition and retention
      Work closely with the Director, Publishing to identify critical traffic drivers (onsite, email, social) and understand how best to measure, track, and optimize for success
      Help create and execute on programs to actively engage the community of past and current course participants with the goal of encouraging enrollment in upcoming Sport events
      Balance multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball or missing deadlines
      Cross-Functional Collaboration:
      Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and creative, to ensure alignment in messaging and execution across all marketing channels.
      Foster strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to maximize collaboration opportunities.
      Market Research and Analysis:
      Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the sports marketing landscape.
      Conduct market research to identify new trends and consumer insights that can inform marketing strategies.
      Track and analyze campaign performance against KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
 
KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL:
      Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic organization
      Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to recognize the importance of personal growth and giving/receiving candid feedback
      Strong interest in keeping up with advancements and understanding the complex intersection of fitness, community, and technology
      Passion for working in high-growth environments
      The discipline, flexibility, and self-starter mentality required to work as part of a high-performing, distributed team
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
      5+ years experience working on marketing programs, campaigns, and events
      Experience with multi-channel marketing strategies and plans and executing large-scale events, ideally across multiple markets
