As the Director of Community Marketing, you will spearhead a new function that supports the global network of Affiliate owners. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, creating training resources, and working closely with Country and Regional managers to ensure these tools are effectively utilized across the network. Your role will involve distributing resources and gathering feedback from Affiliate owners to continually improve support systems.
You will collaborate with the Director of Growth Marketing on acquisition campaigns and report directly to the CMO. Expect to lead the creation of a dynamic Marketing Playbook and training syllabus, ensuring consistent updates and iterations based on feedback and new insights. Your efforts will directly contribute to our Affiliates' growth and proficiency, significantly impacting their success and the overall brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Strategy Development:
○ Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and tools to support the success of Affiliate owners globally.
○ Partner with Channel team (Email & Social) to build Affiliate and community facing comms plans.
● Resource Creation:
○ Develop and maintain a dynamic Marketing Playbook, continually updating and refining it to meet the evolving needs of Affiliate owners.
○ Design and implement a robust training syllabus to enhance the marketing proficiency of Affiliate owners.
● Collaboration:
○ Partner with Country and Region managers to develop resources and establish a regular training cadence, ensuring consistent support across the global network.
○ Work closely with the Director of Growth Marketing on acquisition media campaigns, providing insights and reporting results to the GYM team.
● Feedback Integration & Communication:
○ Collect and elevate feedback from Affiliate owners to inform strategy and resource development.
○ Serve as the primary liaison between the Marketing team and the GYM team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
● Performance Monitoring:
○ Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and training programs, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL:
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
● Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing, community management, or a related field.
● Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and training programs.
● Experience working with a global network or decentralized teams, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
● Strong background in partnership management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
● Experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
● In-depth understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
● Knowledge of the fitness industry, particularly the needs and challenges of Affiliate owners.
● Familiarity with training and resource development for a diverse, global audience.
● Understanding of feedback mechanisms and how to incorporate feedback into strategic planning.
● Ability to develop and implement long-term marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to a diverse audience.
● Proficiency in analyzing data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
● Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, CRM systems, and data analysis software.
