CrossFit is hiring a Mobile Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering organization. You will help build new mobile applications to support our large global user base. This includes creating apps for existing initiatives - for example the CrossFit Open which has hundreds of thousands of competitors submitting scores and following their favorite athletes. Also you will contribute to new initiatives in the health and sports competition spaces. This role is remote in US time zones.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Adding features to existing IOS applications and building net new IOS Applications
● Responsible for effectively communicating technical subjects at varying levels
● Collaborating with other departments to deliver software features and projects
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
● IOS development experience with Swift and Objective-C
● Proven experience building efficient and user focused apps
● Some working knowledge of Kotlin/Android, with eagerness to use Kotlin Native
● Working knowledge of SwiftUI and a desire to use it on new projects
● History of using MVVM and writing testable code
● Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
● An eye for pixel perfect design implementation and a keen focus on performance
● Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
● Passion for CrossFit and our community
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
● 2+ years relevant work experience
● History of consumer apps in Apple App Store
● BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Or equivalent work experience
Compensation $105k - $145K DOE plus bonus
