POSITION DETAILS
The Product Engineer is a creative thinker that partners with Product Development to deliver beautiful and functional products for our Clients. This role ensures that design and manufacturing requirements are complete and accurate across all systems.  The Product Engineer is based out of our Johnstown Studio with flexibility for remote work options up to 2 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Generate accurate manufacturing drawings, client tech packs, and assembly instructions to ensure seamless production processes.
    • Implement Item Creation requests including the development of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing Routings in ERP for effective inventory and production planning.
    • Execute internal and external product testing to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
    • Develop value-engineered solutions for products focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved overall product performance.
    • Partner with other Materials Team Members and Client Team on new product development as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-3 years related experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • 3D SolidWorks CAD experience required
    • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, NetSuite experience preferred
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to travel to Killbuck Campus as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
The essential functions of this position frequently require the team member to use hands or fingers to lift, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protectors and work boots.
