The Manager of Store Planning is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Crumbl’s Store Planning function, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with Crumbl brand standards. This role manages Store Planning Consultants, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability across a variety of store development projects including new store openings, ownership transfers, brand refreshes, and international launches.
The Manager collaborates closely with the Construction, Vendor Relations, Onboarding, Tech, and Franchise Support teams to deliver a consistent and scalable store planning experience for Crumbl Franchise Partners. Success in this role means maintaining high levels of operational readiness, brand alignment, and partner satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of each assigned project.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead and support the Store Planning team in executing new store openings, transfers, refreshes, and other assigned projects.
    • Oversee project assignments, timelines, and quality standards across the team’s portfolio.
    • Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to team members to drive consistency and execution.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for escalations related to store planning projects.
    • Collaborate with Construction, Vendor Relations, and Franchise Support to align resources and execution timelines.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of processes and project progress in planning tools and systems.
    • Maintain regular communication with Franchise Partners throughout their store development journey.
    • Identify process improvements and assist the Sr. Director of Store Planning & Construction in updating SOPs and training materials.
    • Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
    • Deliver regular reporting and updates on project milestones and team performance to leadership.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in the following focus areas: Hospitality, Education, Business Management or Communications.
    • Engaging personality is a must
    • Willing to provide constructive feedback and hold Franchise Partners accountable for adhering to required Crumbl standards. 
    • The ability to navigate tough conversations and not hide from communication with Franchise Partners is key to the success of an Store Planning Specialist.
    • Expected to work during regular business hours but must be available nights and weekends in case of an emergency.
    • Strong technical skills (DropBox, Google Suite, Baking Equipment, etc.).
    • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptable communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to think critically to discover and solve complex problems.
    • Excellent attention to detail to make sure all tasks are completed correctly. 
    • Ability to work independently and reliably. 
    • Willing to lead others while also being a team player within the Crumbl Store Planning Team. Current/Former Crumbl experience preferred, but not required.
    • Advanced time management skills and ability to multi-task with different priorities and task levels.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and have the ability to handle change with professionalism and authenticity.
