We are hiring a Social Media Manager that will manage the content planning, curation, story ideation, and direct communication for the Crunchbase social handles. This opportunity will support the overall brand marketing strategy and will be responsible for developing the brand voice across multiple social media touchpoints. This role will work with key social media and digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube etc. as well as seek out emerging platforms/influencers that can help us grow our customer base and brand.

As a Crunchbase Social Media Manager, you will:

    • Own the social media content calendar, and manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring, and moderation of Crunchbase social media channels
    • Collaborate with creative resources to brainstorm, ideate, and execute social content
    • Track and measure the success of social media initiatives through regular reporting
    • Spearhead the development and execution of our influencer strategies
    • Have a pulse on who our customers are --- who they follow, trust, and buy from
    • Monitor social channels for key issues and post timely key customer updates
    • Exercise excellent judgment to ensure the brand is always putting our best face forward


    • 3+ years of experience in social media management for a brand
    • Experience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and understanding their analytics/insights
    • An avid social media user via Instagram, Twitter, YouTube that is up to date on social trends and tools
    • Passion for storytelling, listening to what the community has to say, and providing engaging experiences in the social space
    • Strong collaboration skills and an inclusive attitude
    • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules across multiple teams

    • Experience managing online communities during crises
    • Expertise in video editing
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
