We are building our sales and CS team to quickly scale our customer base and identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts. Our customers are diverse and range from startups to fortune 500 companies, but they all count on Crunchbase for critical information delivered at the right time. We are looking for awesome people who want to build exceptional relationships with our customers. As a CS Manager, you will provide a high-level of support to customers looking to integrate Crunchbase data into their applications and business, and serve as one of the primary liaisons between Crunchbase and our customers.

Sales and Customer Success at Crunchbase:
The team is responsible for spreading adoption of our API and SaaS products: Crunchbase Enterprise, Crunchbase for Applications and Crunchbase Pro while driving revenue growth.

What you will do:
• Work in partnership with Account Executives to facilitate a smooth hand-off from close of sale to implementation of the Crunchbase API and all future products
• Comfortably walk customers through both the pre and post-sales cycles and educate them on product methodologies
• Work with the team, develop, track, and respond to the critical metrics that drive success across the organization
• Anticipate issues and find opportunities to replicate and systematize solutions used for other customers in order to support effective scaling as the team and customer base grows
• Partner with engineering and product to relay customer needs, issues, and experiences to drive product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization

About You:
• You naturally possess a high level of empathy and play close attention to the needs of customers
• You have a high standard for quality, and feel accomplished when customers are successful
• You're a clear and confident communicator -- comfortable both writing and speaking to executives at startups to the Fortune 500 and coordinating cross-functionally with internal teams and leadership
• You're comfortable in a growing environment, and constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft
• You are technically capable and can converse effectively with technical customers

Qualifications:
• Approximately 1-3 years experience in a customer success or support functionality, specifically in a data and/or software as a service business
• Experience negotiating contracts (up-sells/renewals)
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce preferred
• Experience writing SQL queries preferred
