Our AE's define our customer relationships, and we are looking for strong Account Executives to help continue growing our awesome team. Ideally, you are someone who is passionate about providing company data while building positive relationships with potential customers. As an AE at Crunchbase, you will identify, qualify, and develop lucrative relationships with startups and Fortune 500 companies around the world.

As a Crunchbase Senior Account Executive, you will:

    • Qualify inbound/outbound leads to identify new sales opportunities within an established funnel of potential customers
    • Prospect into new accounts and grow the customer base from our target account profiles while establishing long-term relationships with customers
    • Identify up-sell opportunities and develop existing accounts to customize solutions for broader multi-team licenses
    • Collaborate with the SDRs to develop ABM strategies to key target accounts in addition to facilitating a smooth hand-off from early qualification to close
    • Work with the Customer Success team on close of sale to implementation of Crunchbase Data and all future products
    • Anticipate issues and identify improvements to replicate and systematize solutions used for other customers in order to support effective scaling as the team and customer base grows
    • Work closely with engineering and product to relay customer issues and experiences

About you:

    • Are a versatile sales professional capable of selling to all types of companies and verticals
    • Have spent time selling in startups and thrive in environments with a wide scope and set of responsibilities
    • Naturally possess a high level of compassion and play close attention to the needs of customers
    • Have a high standard for perfection and an awesome sense of gratification when customers are successful
    • Are a clear and confident communicator -- able pitch to both executives at startups to the Fortune 500 and coordinating cross- functionally with internal teams and leadership
    • Are easily coachable and constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft
    • Are technically capable and can converse effectively with technical customers

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS products to customers of varying size ranging from SMB to enterprise, selling data and APIs a plus
    • Past experience working with internal executives and cross-functionally with other teams
    • Highly organized and passionate about the details
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce required
    • Experience in prospecting and self-sourcing pipeline ideal, with experience closing large deals
    • Proven consistency as a top performer
