The Demand Generation Marketing Manager is responsible for generating pipeline for the Crunchbase Enterprise Sales team. This person will help generate awareness and interest in Crunchbase’s B2B and enterprise products. You will manage the strategy, execution and optimization of digital demand generation via paid search, display advertising, paid social marketing, and email. You’ll also partner closely with the B2B content marketing manager to ensure that inbound efforts are complimentary. You will work closely with the sales team to understand how your leads are performing throughout the funnel, and how you can optimize your acquisition efforts.

Marketing at Crunchbase
The Crunchbase Marketing team is responsible for both product and corporate marketing initiatives, including lead generation, creating extraordinary content, and driving engagement with our community of users.

As Crunchbase’s B2B Demand Generation Manager, you will:
•  Build a strategy for how you will generate lead pipeline to support our overall sales ARR goals including paid, email, and ABM plans
•  Understand target audiences
•  Create outbound demand generation programs using email and paid channels like SEM, display, and paid social
•  Have a spirit of experimentation, A/B testing new tactics and finding new ways to drive pipeline and greater efficiency in both online and offline activities
•  Partner closely with the B2B content marketing manager to find partnership opportunities with inbound demand generation campaigns
•  Produce compelling copy and collateral for landing pages, email and ads
•  Carry lead generation targets and report on progress against those targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
•  Optimize and understand the performance of paid channels
•  Manage agencies as needed for advertising and content creation
•  Manage demand generation budget
•  Partner closely with B2B Operations Specialist to ensure reporting and tracking are in place and ensuring new leads are properly uploaded, routed, and actioned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred
•  5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation marketing with lead generation quotas
•  Must have experience managing paid demand gen campaigns including all related tools such as Facebook advertising, Quantcast, and LinkedIn Ads
•  Experience with email marketing and familiarity with ESPs like Marketo or Responsys
•  Experience managing third-party vendors/agencies
•  Strong analytical skills and A/B testing experimentation experience
•  Experience with automation and CRM tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and Google Analytics
•  Excellent partnering skills, and experience working with senior sales leadership
