We are looking to recruit a Global Tax Accounting Senior Manager based in Hong Kong or Singapore to help manage its increasingly complex tax environment in the area of tax accounting under IFRS and the OECD Pillar 2 – Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) Income Rules. This role offers the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to manage the global tax accounting matters of a business experiencing significant growth in a very dynamic industry.

Reporting to the SVP – Head of Tax, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall preparation, review and management of the global tax accounting process under both IFRS and GloBE Income Rules as well as reviewing the tax compliance work (direct and indirect i.e. GST) and tax reporting in APAC. Responsibility also includes tracking the global effective tax rate and accurate forecasting of current and deferred taxes.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the tax team and will collaborate with tax teams globally, external advisors and broader finance and operations teams across the organization. The successful candidate will be supported by a tax team located in Hong Kong.


    • Overall responsibility to manage, review, and/or prepare the world-wide quarterly and annual tax financial reporting under IFRS including calculation of current and deferred tax positions and tax accounting under the GloBE Income Tax Rules.
    • Manage and administer’s tax provisioning software tool.
    • Lead and manage the timely and meticulous preparation of tax returns (direct and indirect tax) for all’s APAC entities.
    • Assist the SVP – Head of Tax and manage any enquiries or tax audits with respect to APAC tax authorities through partnering with other team members across the organisation to bring them to an effective close.
    • Manage the risk exposure relating to all indirect tax matters (GST) and report to the SVP-Head of Tax, as necessary.
    • Ensure policies, procedures and internal controls are up to date and drive process efficiency improvements.


    • CPA or equivalent
    • Ideally 7+ years of APAC tax reporting and compliance experience
    • Strong understanding of IFRS principles (IAS-12), GloBE Income Rules and expertise in preparing tax provision calculations
    • Proficient software skills with tax provisioning software (OneSource, Longview, OneStream, Vena Solutions...etc.)
    • Knowledge of crypto related tax subjects is a plus
    • Excellent project management, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Detail oriented, analytical, with an ability to multitask in a high growth environment
    • Strong willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
    • Passionate about start-ups and the growth of digital assets
    • Excellent command of spoken and written English
