CSA is seeking a Logistician II to provide direct support to our government client in Toms River, NJ.
Duties include but not limited to the following:
•Analyze, procure, and track SE and related logistics elements (publications, etc.) delineated within the Program.
•Perform case-specific SE research under the direction of the LKE Weapons System Manager (WSM) and Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM).
•Conduct Market Research required to procure assets delineated within the LOA.
•Maintain an action item tracker for all program-related tasks. Alert the WSM/ILSM of any schedule slippages.
•Provide technical support for system/design requirements determination and SE acquisition.
•Support preparation of all acquisition documents for the procurement of new, COTS/NDI, and modified SE end-items including technical specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs).
•Participate in program meetings, phone-cons, and conferences. Execute assigned action items on schedule.
•Engage educational tools (DAU) to remain current on acquisition policies and procedures.
•Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills required to communicate internally.
- 3+ years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics.
- MS Office Suite proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience in technical analysis of logistics requirements analysis.
- Experience demonstrating ability to independently perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- BS or BA degree (an additional five years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree).
