Sr Financial/Cost Specialist

Client Solution Architects is seeking a Sr Financial/Cost Specialist to support our Navy client. This position will report to the Old Town complex.
Duties include but not limited to the following:
Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
Forecast quarterly and annual profits
Prepare cost projections
Analyze and report on current financial status
Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities
Coordinate with the executive team on long-term financial planning
Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)
Review accounting transactions for data accuracy
Establish financial policies
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
- Minimum five (5) years financial management experience in Defense industry/Department of the Navy or comparable Government Agencies
- Minimum five (5) years ERP experience using the Financial Management Module
- Tableau Software certified
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is required.
- Active Secret clearance
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is desirable. MBA preferred.
Applicants may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active United States Department of Defense security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
