CSA is currently seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst Expert III to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) at the Washington Navy Yard. The successful candidate will deliver innovative solutions requiring a strong background in program management within DoD/Navy programs. 

This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

    • Lead and direct the work of others, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
    • Develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, and improve the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, delegations of authority, management controls, information and documentation systems, and similar functions of management
    • Plan and accomplish goals using extensive experience, judgment, and knowledge of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Provide consultation and expertise on complex projects, serving as the top-level contributor and specialist
    • Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel, and effectively communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. 
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in DoD/Navy programs and/or policies
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of business systems analysis concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Proven track record in independently performing a wide variety of complicated tasks and providing top-level contributions to projects
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and direct the work of others
    • Familiarity with government regulations and security standards specific to DoD/Navy programs
    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • DoD Secret-Level Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting NAVSEA clients 
    • First-hand experience with Naval shipyard and/or Naval maintenance facilities
