CSA+Capstone is looking for a Systems Administrator who specializes in administering and deploying VMware Sphere 6, 6.5, or 6.7 and Horizon View 6 or 7 with a solid background in designing and documenting new infrastructure deployment to help us manage systems to support our Navy client in a secure modernized computer environment. 

As a Systems Administrator on our team, you’ll ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available and the virtual desktops are properly configured. You’ll help customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in managing users and computers in an enterprise network. Qualifications

    • HS diploma or equivalent
    • Analyst I 
    • Years of Experience: 10 
    • General Experience: Complex problem solving, software, systems, business processes, cyber security, network, hardware installation, network management, enterprise communications, information assurance, system administrator, data standardization.  

    • Analyst II 
    • Years of Experience: 6 
    • General Experience: Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving, Content Management, Software and Network Programming. 

    • Analyst III 
    • Years of Experience: 3 
    • General Experience: Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving, and Business Process Improvement. 

    • Engineer I 
    • Years of Experience: 10 
    • General Experience: Software, systems, business processes, system/network/software/hardware integration and cloud infrastructure. 
    • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level. 

    • Engineer II  
    • Years of Experience: 2 
    • General Experience: Software, systems, business processes, system/network/software/hardware integration and cloud infrastructure. 
    • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level. 

    • Specialist I 
    • Years of Experience: 10 
    • General Experience: Experience in one or more of the following; Systems testing, personnel management systems, educational and training systems, project management, Electronic Documentation. 
    • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level. 

    • Specialist II 
    • Years of Experience: 8 
    • General Experience: Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Electronic Documentation. 
    • Specific Experience:  Experience in one or more of the following; DEERS Application/Function, Personnel, Education, and Training system knowledge may be required at the task order level. 
    • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level. 

    • Specialist III 
    • Years of Experience: 6 
    • General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration  
    • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level. 

    • Specialist IV 
    • Years of Experience: 3 
    • General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration  
    • Certifications: IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level.  

    • Experience with administering and deploying VMware Sphere 6.5 or higher
    • Experience with system administration
    • Experience with designing and documenting new infrastructure deployment
    • Ability to build, configure, and maintain servers within compliance standards
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance
    • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems, including Navy POR systems
    • Experience with Dell or Cisco UCS server management
    • Experience with implementing VMware, Linux, and Windows STIGs
    • Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, or NaviCLI
    • Experience with EMC VNX, XtremIO, or Unity storage arrays using fiber channel or FCoE
    • Knowledge of DoD security compliance auditing, DoD hardening, RMF, STIGs, and PKI
    • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
    • VMware Certified Professional 5 Certification or higher
    • Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification for a designated Operating System
    • Bachelor's degree
The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
