CSA is seeking a JLCCTC System Engineer-Simultions (PTOC) personnel. The JLCCTC System Engineer-Simulations provides the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of constructive simulations, Virtual/Gaming-based simulations, database preparation and maintenance, scenario creation, simulation work station training, network and system administration on simulation networks, and terrain, modeling and multi-media development.  This requires the skills, experience and functional knowledge to create all constructive, battle command interface, and gaming simulation databases in support of an exercise, event or testing. How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

    • Provide system administration for constructive simulations and gaming models including but not limited to maintaining Windows 7/10 workstations, Windows 2012R2/2016/2019 Servers, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server/Workstation, including software updates, patches, and baselines.
    • Work from specifications and installation documentation to develop or modify operating systems applications.
    • Provide server administration of simulation systems in Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) simulation architectures.
    • Operates software in a distributed architecture in JLCCTC and JLVC environments.
    • Responsible for technical operations, setup and tear down of servers, systems and integration tools; maintaining RMF compliance; providing input to exercise design and technical planning products.
    • Create constructive simulation and gaming simulation databases.
    • Work from specifications and installation documentation to develop or modify operating systems applications.
    • Operates software in a distributed architecture in JLCCTC and JLVC environments.
    • As needed, conduct the following:
    • Configure and manage Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS) to include ADSI, AFATDS, EMT, AMDWS, DCGS-A, JCR, JBC-P, TIGR, TAIS, GCCS-A, BCCS, CPOF, and JADOCS
    • Integrate simulation and Combat Training Center instrumentation systems.
    • Support exercise and training event design, planning, preparation and evaluation
    • Test all beta and new simulation software, integration software or tools, and simulation federations
    • Use simulation software to include JLCCTC, LOTS, JCATS, JECS, and DXTRS.
    • Integrate simulation data (DIS or HLA protocols) to stimulate mission command systems.
    • Provide technical integration solutions and recommendations for exercises to include Simulation to Stimulation (Sim-Stim) architectures.
    • Create constructive, mission command interface, and gaming simulation databases in support of an exercise, event or testing
    • System administration for constructive, mission command interface and gaming models including but not limited to maintaining Windows 7/10 workstations, Windows 2012R2/2016/2019 Servers, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server/Workstation, including software updates, patches, and baselines.
    • Responsible for technical operations, setup and tear down of servers, systems and integration tools; maintaining RMF compliance; providing input to exercise design and technical planning products.
    • Support as needed all other set-up, transition, and break down for all training and training support activities pertaining to this task order.
    • Participate in individual training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and exercise and training events and supports the planning and preparation processes and product development as needed.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

    • Clearance: Must possess a Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI access
    • A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent related experience OR an associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent related experience OR a major certification plus 7 years of recent related experience OR 11 years of recent related experience.
    • DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification
    • U.S. Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI access.

What Sets You Apart:

    • Experience in installation and configuration of current Windows or Linux OS.
    • Experience with creating all constructive, battle command interface, and gaming simulation databases in support of an exercise, event or testing.
    • Experience with US DoD modeling and simulation defense programs.
    • Experience configuring, operating, administering, troubleshooting and maintaining one or more of the following simulations and communications software:
    • Joint Land Component Commander Training Capability (JLCCTC) / Warfighter's Simulation (WARSIM) / WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM).
    • Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS)
    • Low Overhead Training System (LOTS)
    • Experience in building databases for JLCCTC, JCATS, JDLM, JLOD, etc.
    • Outstanding work ethic and personal integrity.
    • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to document and update processes.
    • Ability to perform tasks under deadlines.
    • Ability to work with senior Government and Industry leaders.
    • Possess a very high degree of attention to detail.
    • Capable of working at a computer terminal for extended periods.
    • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for consecutive days up to 4 weeks.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
