CSA is seeking a Network Engineer to support our Army client at Schofield Barracks.

This position is contingent on award.

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

    • Develops Enterprise Network Architecture to include LAN/WAN, encryption, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, security, software defined network (SDN), voice, video, data, collaboration and Cloud components.-
    • Maintains network architecture and infrastructure for multiple networks.
    • Develops and implements network and service monitoring capabilities, with a focus on managing capacity and performance and diagnosing and resolving network problems while ensuring secure operations.
    • Manages configuration and optimization for all network devices (to include but not limited to firewalls, Cross Domain Solution (CDS), Virtual Infrastructure, servers, hubs, routers, and switches.
    • Monitors changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter.
    • Installs, tests, maintains, and upgrades operating systems software.
    • Works with JMSC Government and contract staff, and outside stakeholders to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network.
    • Ensures the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.
    • -Supports the full system engineering life-cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test, and implementation. Ensures security analysis and integration throughout the life-cycle.
    • Secures network system by enforcing Government policies; develops and executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Best Business Practices (BBPs) for EOPM&D assigned Government Information Systems and associated networks.
    • Maintains necessary information assurance protocols and services on stimulation/simulation information systems and associated network enclaves that includes but not limited to: system lock-down procedures, operating system patches, and stimulation/simulation software patches.
    • Creates and administers Continuity of Operation Plans (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans that ensure the availability of Government Information Systems and associated network enclaves.
    • Manages and implements compliance with Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) as defined/required by RMF Security Controls and Defense Information System Agency (DISA) requirements/BBPs.
    • Manages/Coordinates/Executes incident response and handling procedures according to Government regulations, policies, procedures, and associated RMF Security Controls.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

    • Clearance: Must possess a Secret clearance and be eligible to maintain a Top Secret clearance
    • Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of recent specialized experience;
    • OR associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience;
    • OR a major certification plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience;
    • OR eleven (11) years of recent specialized experience.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Ability to speak, read, write and understand the
    • Ability to perform tasks under deadlines.
    • Ability to work with senior Government and Industry leaders.
    • Possess a very high degree of attention to detail.
    • Capable of working at a computer terminal for extended periods.  
    • DoD 8570 IAT Level II and the ability to obtain IAT Level III within six months of starting.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

Candidates based in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey (Jersey City), New York or Washington: The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000 Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
