Gearhead Work from Home Internet Requirements

  • I understand a personal hotspot cannot be used for work, and this is a work from home requirement, working from temporary locations (like a van) is not acceptable.
  • I understand that remote employees are expected to have a personal internet serve provider and have bandwidth speeds that are a minimum of 25 Mbps to download and 9 Mbps to upload.
  • I understand It is required that remote employees have the ability to connect their ethernet cable from their router to their work station. If the employee is unable to hardline, their router should be no more than two walls away to ensure stability in the connection by checking.

Gearhead Scheduling Information

  • I understand that during peak business periods (for example, Black Friday through the following week, or the week before Christmas), I may be scheduled for additional hours outside of my usual weekly hours. This may result in extra hours per work week, including but not limited to overtime (working more than 40 hours per work week), and/or shifts on additional days during these periods.
  • I understand at Backcountry, Competitive Cyclist, and MotoSport, part time employment usually ranges from 8 hours per week to 29 hours per week and fulltime employment usually ranges from 30 hours per week to 40 hours per week.
