This position will report into the Strategic Planner.

What you get to do every day:

    • Serves as the main contact for Vendor communications related to PO updates, vendor maintenance, and general inquiries, while relaying information provided by vendors to the Customer Service and Buying teams
    • Works in collaboration with internal partners to proactively develop solutions to reduce fulfillment discrepancies, drives operational efficiencies, and manages potential disputes
    • Manages tracking and updating of vendor order tracker, vendor chargebacks, and late order shipping tracking
    • Builds cross-functional relationships across the organization and communicates with all levels of management within the company
    • Drives operational excellence conversations concerning Supply Chain issues like packaging, shipping time, and invoicing, with both external and internal partners to ensure optimal customer experience
    • Conducts the new Vendor on-boarding process with internal and external partners
    • Escalates any issues that may have material impact on the business promptly to the Manager and Buying Department
    • Responsible for invoice approval by utilizing a 3-way match to verify all relevant details related to POs are in agreement
    • Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the manager.

What you bring to the role:

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • 2+ years of retail experience required, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
    • MS Office with a strong proficiency in Excel is required
    • Effectively utilizes inventory management systems and learns new systems and processes as needed
    • Excellent customer service, multi-tasking ability, and organizational skills
    • Superior ability to manage time and prioritize tasks, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced settings with changing priorities, all while efficiently meeting deadlines
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret conclusions from detailed data
    • An entrepreneurial mind-set is a plus!
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent work experience considered instead of education
